As college student, we often become overwhelmed with courses and need to maintain good grades. We lose sense of ourselves, and our world revolves around school and work. This workshop is meant to target anyone who struggles with maintaining good mental health. I hope to provide some background and advice on balancing certain aspects of your life and participating in some activities to relieve stress.

This workshop is to educate you all on the pros and the importance of water on earth. How much is here and if it is diminishing.

My workshop will be about Bees I will speak about the contribution Bees give to the earth and how there one of the biggest pollinators as well as statistics that prove it and I’ll also talk about the effect it would have on planet earth if all Bees ceases to exist or if the Bee species started to die out.

This workshop is designed to help youth build confidence in the kitchen, learn quick and affordable meals they can make at home, and understand how food impacts both health and culture. Through fun activities and group discussions, we hope to inspire practical habits, spark creativity, and encourage mindful choices that support overall wellbeing.

Creating strong promotional materials is essential for any nonprofit striving to share its mission and reach the communities it serves. This workshop guides youth and adults through the foundations of branding, design, and effective communication. Participants will learn how to recognize successful nonprofit visuals, explore key principles like color and composition, and collaborate to develop their own promotional pieces. Through hands-on creation and group activities, this session aims to spark creativity and empower participants with the tools to visually represent the heart of their organizations.

Creativity lives in all of us, even when we don’t always see it. This workshop is designed to help participants push their creative boundaries, discover new forms of expression, and build confidence through art. Together, we’ll explore what creativity truly means, why it matters in our everyday lives, and how it shows up in the stories we tell, the choices we make, and the art we create. Through group activities, painting exercises, and a hands-on tie-dye project, our goal is to create a supportive space where everyone feels free to experiment, take risks, and make something they’re proud of, no perfection required, just expression.

This workshop invites youth to explore the connection between cultural identity, food justice, and the Green Guerillas mission. Through hands-on planting, storytelling, and shared activities, participants will learn about the foods that shape our backgrounds, how immigration influences our food traditions, and how growing our own crops can empower communities. Our goal is to create a space where everyone can celebrate their heritage, learn from one another, and take part in meaningful food justice practices that support and uplift the neighborhoods we belong to.

In this workshop, we’ll look at how the game grew from a peach basket in 1891 to the global movement it is today. Through timeline stations, hands-on drills, and group discussions, participants will explore basketball’s history, cultural impact, and the life lessons it teaches about teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Whether you play or just love the game, this session will help you connect with its past and reflect on how it can shape your own path on and off the court.

This workshop explores how political systems work, why knowing your rights matters, and how injustice can show up within courts and government. Through interactive activities, real case examples, and group discussions, participants will learn how policies change over time, how messages can be distorted, and how political decisions impact communities - especially minorities. Our goal is to help students better understand their rights, recognize injustice when they see it, and feel empowered to think critically about leadership, laws, and the systems that shape their everyday lives.
