Fall Garlic & Bulb Distribution

Annual Fall Garlic & Bulb Distribution

This year’s Annual Fall Garlic & Bulb Distribution brings community gardeners together to prepare for another season of growth. Gardeners will have the opportunity to collect a variety of garlic and bulbs while enjoying creative workshops and refreshments. It’s a chance to gather, learn, share, and get your garden ready for a vibrant fall across New York City.

This October, Green Guerillas invites registered community gardens to join our Annual Fall Garlic & Bulb Distribution! This seasonal distribution provides community gardeners with a variety of garlic and flowering bulbs to plant before winter, helping gardens prepare for a vibrant and productive fall.

Fall planting gives bulbs time to establish strong roots before the growing season returns, supporting healthier plants, beautiful blooms, and more resilient gardens. Garlic and flowering bulbs can also contribute to biodiversity and create valuable habitat and food sources for pollinators across New York City.

This year’s distribution will offer more than just garlic and bulbs. Gardeners can also take part in creative workshops and enjoy refreshments while connecting with fellow community gardeners. Whether you’re preparing garden beds for spring or looking to try something new, this is an opportunity to gather resources, share knowledge, and get your garden ready for another season of growth.
