Seed Library

Welcome to our Seed Library. This initiative assists community gardeners in NYC with accessing culturally relevant seeds, seeds that promote biodiversity, and seeds that are heirlooms or otherwise difficult to source. We want to make it easier for community gardeners to grow produce that they and their community members need, to create vital pollinator habitat, and to share seeds their garden groups are saving. This Seed Library is open to community gardeners ages 18 or older who are members of an NYC community garden. Home gardeners are not eligible. We encourage you to review our FAQs before proceeding. The Seed Library will operate from March through October of each year.
