Interested in getting more involved with urban agriculture and community organizing in New York City? Looking for a structured way to engage in community service during the growing season and meet other people who are interested in growing food and increasing food access around the city? Green Guerillas Service Corps might be right for you.
Green Guerillas is looking for a few people to commit to a growing season worth of service to NYC’s community gardening and urban agriculture movements – 120 hours in all. In exchange for a modest registration fee, we will provide well-organized service opportunities, skills-building trainings, and a certificate upon completion of service.

Green Guerillas is pleased to help the Manhattan Land Trust recruit a few good people to pitch in.
The Manhattan Land Trust is a community gardener-led land trust that preserves and manages community gardens in Manhattan – 14 vibrant community gardens in Harlem, the East Village, and the Lower East Side.
MLT is looking for people with the time and talent to volunteer or serve on the board of directors. They need people to help the land trust reach out, raise funds, and make important partnerships with funders and nonprofits to advance MLT’s important preservation mission.
